Day 1: Welcome to Cape Town, South Africa!

After you arrive to Cape Town International Airport (CPT), you will picked up via private shuttle and driven to your new home in Green Point. From there, you will check-in to your accommodations at Harpers House Boutique Hotel, and soak in all of the beauty that Cape Town has to offer.

We will have a welcome dinner that evening to give a chance for everyone on the retreat to meet each other.

Day 2: Lion's Head Sunrise Hike, Long March To Freedom,  Cultural Cape Town Tour including Langa Township

Although you might be still adjusting to the time zone difference, we'll be rising early for an optional hike with some of the most gorgeous sunrise views of Cape Town.

South Africa has a rich and complex history. Today we will explore that history in tours to the Langa Township and the Long March To Freedom Exhibit.

You will experience Cape Town history and culture as well as dine and eat with the locals.

Day 3: Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Saturday Market Day Party, Picturesque Photoshoot in Bo-Kaap

Cape Town has one of the most breathtaking botanical gardens we've ever seen at Kistenbosh National Botanical Garden. We'll start the day at the garden and head over to the bustling social scene at the Saturday Market. If you're looking to take some Instagram worthy photos, that can be arranged with our photographer in the colorful township, Bo-Kaap.

On Day 4, we will head over to the most south western point of the African continent, Cape Of Good Hope with picturesque views of the Atlantic Ocean from the Chapman's Peak highway. After we go to Cape Of Good hope, we'll have lunch in quaint Simons Town and finish the day with some relaxation with the wild African penguins at Boulders Beach.

Day 5: Hop on/Hop Off Franschhoek Wine Train & Seven Sisters Winery

Today is all about wine and a good time!

We'll start off the day at the Franschhoek Wine Train, going to several wineries for tastings and tours.

From there, we'll travel to Stellenbosch to eat and drink at a Black owned winery, Seven Sisters Vineyards and learn the story of how they thrived in Post Apartheid South Africa.

Day 6: Free Exploration Day

How about taking an entire day to do whatever it is that you want? That's what today is all about! Sun bathe on the Camps Bay Beach, visit the top of Table Mountain in a cable car, go shopping, book an excursion...the world is your oyster!

If you were looking for an opportunity to see the infamous "Big 5" of Africa, here's your chance! We'll head out early to drive to a safari on the Aquila Game Reserve.

After the adrenaline comes down from our safari trip, you'll wind down on the beautiful resort property. We'll be spending the night here. The property boasts two beautiful pools, so bring your swimsuit! There's also Spa Services which can be booked including an array of massages, facials, and more.

Day 8: Fly to Jo'Berg and Arrive to 2nd Trip House/ Fly Back To USA If Doing 7 Day Retreat

Today we'll leave our beloved Cape Town for Johannesburg (affectionately known as Jo'Berg or Jozi). From Aquila Game Reserve, we'll make our way to Cape Town international airport and take the 2 hour flight to our new home in the suburb of Sandton, located right outside of metropolitan Jo'Berg.

Day 9: Hop On/Hop Off and Soweto Bus Tour

One of the best ways to get to know an area quickly is by doing a hop on/hop off bus tour. This tour will cover major points of interest in Jo'Berg including:

  • Apartheid Museum

  • Braamfontein Neighborhood

  • Vilakazi Street in Soweto to see Mandela House and Desmond Tutu House

  • 1st ever sports facility build for Black South Africans

  • And more!

Day 11: Free Exploration Day or Optional Healers Tour With Sangoma Spiritual Healers

Day 11 is your choice if you want to explore Jo'berg on your own or if you wish to join the Healers Tour to visit the Zulu Spirit Guides, called Sangomas for some insight into your future. Whichever route you choose, today will be exactly what it needs to be for you.
